Hypnosis SIG: Robot Hypnosis

April 28 @ 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Free

Robotization is one of those kinks that intertwines nicely with hypnosis. Thinking of the mind as a computer and hypnosis as a programming method brings up all kinds of possibilities. This class will cover: how to use programming metaphors in your hypno-play; the role play potential in robots; how to optimize your robot’s voice and posture; safety precautions in transformation suggestions; and all the wonderful programs, modes, and other add-ons that this form of play provides.

The Black Rose Hypnosis SIG meets monthly to teach, share, explore and practice hypnosis in a supportive community and a safety-and-consent focused environment. We welcome everyone from curious newbies to experienced hypnokinksters, as long as they are adults and committed to learning and mutual consent.

SIG meetings begin at noon with a pot-luck lunch. (We do not assign dishes: bring something you like, something you like to share, something that isn’t a lot of trouble to transport, and not too much.) Everyone brings something and somehow we always have enough. During the lunch-social time (about 12:30) we have a brief introductory session for people who have no hypnosis background at all and at 1 o’clock we have our SIG business run-through and begin the class.

Please RSVP by sending email to hypnosis@br.org. We meet in private homes and we send the address people who have responded that they are coming. Please be respectful to our neighbors in parking and in dress.
