We call it *play* for a reason! Here\, we learn from the world of theatre to expand the possibilities of our play. From aesthetic elements such as makeup\, costumes\, and lighting; emotion heightening aspects such as scene premise\, character development\, and atmospheric sounds or music; and becoming a true prop *master* by creatively using props or pervertables. The opportunities are endless! Now’s the chance to come be the star of your own play! \nPresenter Bio\nLettera\, (they/she) has been in the scene for about 5 years now following a post pandemic renaissance where they vowed to go to as many class and events in the community as time and money allowed. A self-ascribed Fairy Kink Mother and Chaos Switch\, they have been demo topping knives and impact and teaching for the last two years. Their background in theatre\, organizing\, and psychology inform both their play and their teachings. You may not recognize them immediately at events because they often can be found in different dramatic makeup looks doing high concept theatrical scenes in many different roles.  \n\nTo minimize disruption\, there will be no admittance after 8:30. \nThis is not a play party. SUMMARY:New and Curious Kinksters
DESCRIPTION:Black Rose’s New and Curious Kinksters (or NaCK)\, is a discussion group designed for people who are new(ish) to the scene. While we highly recommend all new kinksters check out Gateway (the first/last Thursday of each month – always the day before D101) and Dungeon 101 (the first Friday of each month) and come with questions about their experiences\, it is not required\, and we welcome anyone new to kink. Please note NaCK is for asking questions\, there will be no presentation or monologuing. \nWe meet the 4th Thursday of the month from 6:30 to 8:00pm. We are going to try out having virtual NaCK. I know many of us have Zoom fatigue\, but this is a more responsible approach. We’ll chat about whatever comes up – everything from “what do I wear to the club?” to “I had this great scene\, but this part didn’t go well. What do you suggest?” NaCK has a rotating group of experienced kinksters come in to answer questions\, so the discussion is always a little bit different\, and we aim to provide a variety of answers from different D/s roles\, genders\, races\, and backgrounds. \nIf you are still in the beginning of your kink journey\, we hope you’ll come join us to ask questions and share advice.
