SUMMARY:Creating Intimacy and Connection within a Rope Scene with Sam
DESCRIPTION:Class Description\nSo you know how to tie a single column\, maybe you can even throw on a harness… but past patterns and knots\, there is a lovely person at the end of our ropes…\nso how do we go from just using our technical skills\, to creating a real connection with the person you’re tying? Whether you’re new\, experienced\, tying someone for the first time or with your established rope partner\, this class will show you ways and concepts to create impactful intimacy in your rope scenes and beyond. \nRope is the conduit\, connection is the goal. \nPurpose: Teaching skills & concepts to Rope tops & switches on how to create connection in and out of a rope scene. \nStructure will be a mix of lecture\, Demoing\, and some exercises for participants. \nI would recommend folks bring at least 1-2 hanks of rope\, and shears/cutting device. \nSkill level: Any\, preferably at least comfortable tying a single column of their choice. \nPresenter Bio\nSam (they/them) is a queer\, non-binary\, neurodivergent\, rope-obsessed goblin with a great love for movement\, all things touch\, and learning the what/why/how of connection between beings. Basically\, an intimacy slut. They’ve been a rope bottom for 7 years\, switch/self-tier/Top for 2 years\, and a kinkster longer than that. \nAs a certified Professional Cuddler\, they are passionate about touch rooted in consent and pleasure\, and will scream from the rooftops about how connection is vital to healing and living a joyful life. \nThis goblin helps perpetuate the rope bottom to self tier to Top pipeline and is proud of it. \n\nTo minimize disruption\, there will be no admittance after 8:30. \nThis is not a play party. Do not attempt to engage in scenes or solicit others for play\, except for labbing as part of a workshop-style class. \nTickets are $5 for Black Rose Members and Members of Reciprocal Groups with their Membership Card and $10 for non-members. \nAll ticket sales are at the door. \nEmail info@br.org for more information about Black Rose or its events. \nAccessibility accommodations are available upon request to accessibility@br.org. SUMMARY:Planning and Executing High Concept Scenes with Skeleton_Bitch
DESCRIPTION:Class Description\nSome scenes go beyond impact\, bondage\, or roleplay. They become immersive experiences. High concept scenes are built on strong ideas\, careful planning\, and the ability to weave story\, sensation\, and psychology into a cohesive whole. This workshop is for kinksters who want to bring their most ambitious visions to life without losing sight of negotiation\, safety\, or playfulness. \nWe’ll cover: \nHow to take a big idea (fantasy\, narrative\, aesthetic) and translate it into a workable scene\nNegotiation techniques for complex or multi-layered dynamics\nTime\, space\, and prop management to support immersive play\nBalancing intensity with sustainability\, pacing\, and aftercare\nTips for adapting when things don’t go as planned. without breaking the scene\nWhether you’re inspired by theater\, film\, ritual\, or pure imagination\, this class will give you the tools to plan\, execute\, and adapt high concept scenes that leave everyone involved feeling connected\, transformed\, and satisfied. \nPresenter Bio\nSkeleton_Bitch (they/he/she)\, aka Lizzie\, aka Picasso of Pain\, is a disabled\, genderfluid dominant/sadist/artist. They are one of the hosts of the monthly queer-centered play party\, @qinkdc\, and the Director of Education for @br_BlackRose. They have been participating in kink since 2006 and part of the DMV kink community since 2022. They have been navigating the nuances of being kinky while living with multiple chronic illnesses and being autistic with ADHD (AuDHD) and what that means for them as a dominant\, top\, and organizer. They also love artistic\, high-concept scenes that bring various media and forms of expression to play. \nTickets are $5 for Black Rose Members and Members of Reciprocal Groups with their Membership Card and $10 for non-members. \nAll ticket sales are at the door. \n\nEmail info@br.org for more information about Black Rose or its events. \nAccessibility accommodations are available upon request to accessibility@br.org.
