For many of us\, clothing can be a source of dysphoria\, but it can just as powerfully be a tool to ease it. Learn to style your wardrobe in a way that aligns with your gender identity\, quiets the dissonance dysphoria can bring\, and makes room for real gender euphoria in how you show up to the world. \nTaught by a former stylist\, this course covers it all: how to flatter every body shape\, how to build a personal aesthetic that’s unmistakably you\, and how to wear your clothes instead of letting them wear you. \nYou’ll leave with confidence\, a sense of control over your closet\, and the know-how to turn getting dressed from a source of stress into a source of joy. \nPresenter Bio\nDevious & Delightful\, Vibrant & Violent. Alixzander is a sadomasochistic switch\, with a penchant for the dark\, wild\, and insane. They enjoy sensory deprivation\, putting cocks in their mouth\, needles to the head\, having fun things put in them\, electrocuting boys\, and much much more. \nAn internationally recognized educator\, Alixzander is one of the founders of Queer Identifying n Kinky (QINK)\, Crucible Rendezvous\, and The Queer Dude’s Party\, which are monthly parties held at The Crucible in Washington\, DC. They are the former Education Director of Black Rose\, and are currently on staff for Camp Crucible\, Cruciblecon\, Fornucopia\, Femme Fatale Co.\, and CLAW. \n\nTo minimize disruption\, there will be no admittance after 8:30. \nThis is not a play party. Leather care 101 is a class for folks looking to maintain their current leathers or learn a little for future leather adventures. Every leather enthusiast has their routine and preferences for leather care. As such\, this class will not be the ultimate guide on leather care\, but suggestions from one enthusiast with a few years of experimentation. \nIf you have a pair of boots or a harness that’s been begging you to condition it\, this is your opportunity to get a second opinion and work on your leathers in a class setting. This class will be a short lecture\, followed by a workshop for folks to mess about with their leathers and ask questions. Some basic leather care supplies will be available\, but supplies are limited. There will also be a small selection of leather goods provided by Blue for folks to clean if they don’t have any leathers themselves. \nBy the end of this class\, participants will have an understanding of the function and use of leather care supplies (soaps\, conditioners\, oils\, brushes\, polish\, miscellaneous supplies). Participants will know the difference in some types of leather and their care needs. Finally\, participants will have time to clean their leathers (optional) with time to ask questions about their specific leathers. \nAttendee supplies- OPTIONAL\, presenter will supply limited extras. \n\nLeathers (cuffs\, boots\, any gear you want to clean).\nLeather care supplies\nThis is a class designed for beginners\, but is open to all levels of experience.\n\nPresenter Bio\nnocturneBlue (they/them) is a queer leather worker and part time dog out of the DMV with a passion for leather care. They’ve participated in the DMV scene since 2023 and seek to share their perspective as a leather worker from a non-kink background. As a chronic horse-girl\, Blue has been cleaning and maintaining leathers for over a decade. Owner of Nocturne Blue Leather\, they are passionate about making high quality leathers for all folks. Their favorite color is blue and they like leather. \n\nTo minimize disruption\, there will be no admittance after 8:30. \nThis is not a play party.
