SUMMARY:Get Your Body Ready for Rope:  Body Awareness & Injury Prevention for Both Sides of the Slash with Abundant Mischief
DESCRIPTION:Class Description\nDoes your body ever feel grumpy the day after doing rope\, but you don’t know why? Do you aspire to do more physically challenging rope\, but are not sure how to get there? This class will draw upon techniques from sports medicine\, dance\, and circus arts to provide simple exercises for deepening your body awareness and learning how to protect your body from injuries while tying or being tied. This class will include: A simple full-body warm-up that can also be used prior to play or other physical activities Exercises for improving your awareness of how your body feels in a particular moment or position Tips for improving your awareness of where your body is in a particular space\, and how to stay alert to potential nearby obstacles or hazards Joint stability exercises for active bottoming Functional movement tips for avoiding stressing out your joints while topping \nPresenter Bio\n\nAbundantMischief is a queer polyamorous toppy switch\, gleeful sadomasochist\, and enthusiastic boot fetishist. She has been active in the Northeast US kink community for over 16 years\, and enjoys bringing crossover knowledge from her 2 decades of experience as a professional dancer\, circus artist\, and performing arts educator into her kink teaching.
