Class Description

The changing US political landscape along with our ever increasing integration with various types of computing has many concerned about their privacy and anonymity. This class details common sense steps you can take to increase your privacy, security, and anonymity while doing such previously mundane things as: looking at porn, crossing borders, booking medical appointments, attending political actions, simply existing in America! I will only cover topics related to personal security, anything that would generally be covered by a business or organization paying a consultant is off limits.

Presenter Bio

Alex McGeorge has been involved with BDSM in the DMV for a truly boring amount of time. He currently is best known as co-organizer and event runner for The Crucible’s Dungeon 101. Alex has taught on spanking since 2012 through Dungeon 101 and at events for Black Rose, FetFest, CLAW Getaway 2022 and internationally. When not enjoying the suffering of others Alex works on the offensive side of computer security for a cloud provider, enjoys running around in nature and sometimes indulging in his compulsion to get into places he’s not supposed to be.

This is a community outreach event and attendance is free of charge to current members and folks newer to Black Rose.

To minimize disruption, there will be no admittance after 8:30.

This is not a play party. Do not attempt to engage in scenes or solicit others for play, except for labbing as part of a workshop-style class.

Tickets are $5 for Black Rose Members and Members of Reciprocal Groups with their Membership Card and $10 for non-members.

All ticket sales are at the door.
