Class Description

Dominating and topping are not one and the same and dominance doesn’t end when you’re the one being penetrated. In this workshop, we’ll explore how to maintain authority, control, and presence even while your body is receiving. Through discussion, demos, and guided exercises, we’ll unpack strategies for commanding the pace, tone, and energy of the scene, whether you’re with one partner or many.

Participants will learn:

• Techniques for staying in charge while in physically “submissive” positions
• Negotiation tools to establish clear expectations and boundaries
• Body language, voice, and psychological strategies that reinforce dominance
• Ways to navigate shifting power dynamics with confidence and creativity

This class is designed for Dominants, Switches, and anyone curious about holding power in positions that are often coded as passive. This class is also for submissives who like being the active partner. All genders, orientations, and experience levels are welcome. Come ready to challenge assumptions, sharpen your skills, and claim your dominance, no matter what your body is doing.

Presenter Bio

Skeleton_Bitch (they/them), aka Lizzie, aka Picasso of Pain, is a disabled, genderfluid dominant/sadist/artist. They are one of the hosts of the monthly queer-centered play party, @qinkdc, and the Director of Education for @br_BlackRose. They have been participating in kink since 2006 and part of the DMV kink community since 2022. They have been navigating the nuances of being kinky while living with multiple chronic illnesses and being autistic with ADHD (AuDHD) and what that means for them as a dominant, top, and organizer. They also love artistic, high-concept scenes that bring various media and forms of expression to play.

To minimize disruption, there will be no admittance after 8:30.

This is not a play party. Do not attempt to engage in scenes or solicit others for play, except for labbing as part of a workshop-style class.

Tickets are $5 for Black Rose Members and Members of Reciprocal Groups with their Membership Card and $10 for non-members.
