Class Description

Join this interactive discussion to talk about consent. We’ll go over best practices for getting consent for kink, negotiation tips, and red flags to watch out for. We’ll also explain how to get consent for kink using Explicit Prior Permission (EPP), the new legal framework that NCSF helped create in the revised Model Penal Code on Sexual Assault. We’ll also talk about the liability risks involved in consent incidents, and why groups need policies & procedures to handle reports.

Presenter Bio

The NCSF is committed to creating a political, legal and social environment in the US that advances equal rights for consenting adults who engage in alternative sexual and relationship expressions. The NCSF aims to advance the rights of, and advocate for consenting adults in the BDSM-Leather-Fetish, Swing, and Polyamory Communities. We pursue our vision through direct services, education, advocacy, and outreach, in conjunction with our partners, to directly benefit these communities.
