Knife to Meet You: Knife Play 101 with Lettera

Class Description

Do you get a little turned on when you see a knife in your partner’s hand in the kitchen? Are you a sensation slut but want to raise the stakes? Are you looking for new ways to deepen your D/s dynamic? For these reasons and many more, you may be interested in exploring knife play for the first time! This class will explore the different ways knives can be incorporated into your kink play, different types of knives and their parts, knife handling, and how to negotiate a knife play scene. Due to the nature of knife play being a high risk form of edge play, a large portion of this class will be focused on the risks associated with knife, play, and ways to mitigate some of these risks to make your play as safe and fun as possible!

Presenter Bio

Lettera, (they/she) has been in the scene for about 5 years now, following a post-pandemic renaissance where they vowed to go to as many classes and events in the community as time and money allowed. A self-ascribed Fairy Kink Mother and Chaos Switch, they have been demo-topping knives and impact, and teaching for the last year. Their background in theatre, organizing, and psychology informs both their play and their teachings.

Tickets are $5 for Black Rose Members and Members of Reciprocal Groups with their Membership Card and $10 for non-members.
