Living as Fat & Kinky – A Panel Discussion

Accessibility accommodations are available upon request to accessibility@br.org. Please give us two weeks’ notice.
Class Description
Join us for an honest, nuanced, and affirming panel exploring being fat and kinky. This conversation brings together fat kinksters, educators, and community members to unpack how body size shapes experiences of desire, power, visibility, and safety within kink spaces.
Together, we’ll explore:
- Challenging fatphobia in kink and BDSM communities
- Negotiating consent, boundaries, and embodiment in fat bodies
- The complexities of fetishization vs. genuine desire
- Accessibility, play adaptations, and creating affirming scenes
- Reclaiming pleasure, agency, and self-expression on our own terms
Presenter Bio
Mo or @MoProblems (any/all) is a queer genderfluid kinkster entering a second year in the local DC scene. Mo has been exploring what it means to exist on both sides of the slash. A frequent student of Black Rose, Mo is a new presenter with a decade of experience as a trainer and coach, and nearly 20 years of experience with both sides of a blowjob.
Nytemare: I have been active in the kink community since 1998, beginning as a submissive and now as a dominant. I am the happy owner of my boy Len for the past 8 years and enjoy sharing my knowledge with others.
Skeleton_Bitch (they/them), aka Lizzie, aka Picasso of Pain, is a disabled, genderfluid dominant/sadist/artist. They are one of the hosts of the monthly queer-centered play party, @qinkdc, and the Director of Education for @br_BlackRose. They have been participating in kink since 2006 and part of the DMV kink community since 2022. They have been navigating the nuances of being kinky while living with multiple chronic illnesses and being autistic with ADHD (AuDHD) and what that means for them as a dominant, top, and organizer. They also love artistic, high-concept scenes that bring various media and forms of expression to play.
To minimize disruption, there will be no admittance after 8:30.
This is not a play party. Do not attempt to engage in scenes or solicit others for play, except for labbing as part of a workshop-style class.
Tickets are $5 for Black Rose Members and Members of Reciprocal Groups with their Membership Card and $10 for non-members.
All ticket sales are at the door.
