Class Description

Does your body always feel cranky by the last day of a con? Do you have chronic injuries that flare up or get worse when you top certain activities or longer scenes?

Using techniques from sports medicine, as well as my own lived experience topping longer scenes while managing chronic health challenges, this class will empower you to keep your body feeling better without sacrificing your kinky joy.

This class will include:

• Modifications to minimize stress on joints when handling rope and impact toys
• Physical aftercare tips for tops
• Simple exercises specifically geared towards preventing injuries from topping impact, rough body play, rope bondage, and strapon play
• Strategies for managing your energy while topping longer scenes, multiple scenes in the same day, or increasing the frequency of play

This class is “participation appreciated but not required” and doesn’t require a class partner (all participatory parts can be done solo)

Presenter Bio

AbundantMischief is a queer polyamorous toppy switch, gleeful sadomasochist, and enthusiastic boot fetishist. She has been active in the Northeast US kink community for over 16 years, and enjoys bringing crossover knowledge from her 2 decades of experience as a professional dancer, circus artist, and performing arts educator into her kink teaching. She has taught for Dark Odyssey, TES, TESFest, Tethered Together, IMsLBB, Pragmatic Kink, MAsT: Auckland, CUFF, House of Kush, House of SCK, and Black Rose.

To minimize disruption, there will be no admittance after 8:30.

This is not a play party. Do not attempt to engage in scenes or solicit others for play, except for labbing as part of a workshop-style class.

Tickets are $5 for Black Rose Members and Members of Reciprocal Groups with their Membership Card and $10 for non-members.
