Vetting (Community Outreach Class) with Alex McGeorge

September 10 @ 8:00 PM - 9:30 PM

Free

Class Description

BDSM is impossible to do without risk. One of the key factors to consider is the person(s) you’re doing BDSM with. How do we figure out what risks come from the humans we do BDSM with? This class will cover vetting potential play partners for different scenarios and risk profiles. The goal is to guide attendees towards determining their personal list of essential questions to ask during vetting, how to analyze the information provided by a human sources (including themselves) and making decisions based on that information.

Presenter Bio

Alex McGeorge has been involved with BDSM in the DMV for a truly boring amount of time. He currently is best known as co-organizer and event runner for The Crucible’s Dungeon 101. Alex has taught on spanking since 2012 through Dungeon 101 and at events for Black Rose, FetFest, CLAW Getaway 2022 and internationally. When not enjoying the suffering of others Alex works on the offensive side of computer security for a cloud provider, enjoys running around in nature and sometimes indulging in his compulsion to get into places he’s not supposed to be.

As a Community Outreach event, this class is free.
