Knives 101 with Mister Chris

Class Description

Do knives scare you? Do you want to be scary by using knives? What is the allure of playing with sharp objects, and how can we have fun without injuring our partners?
Come learn how to connect with your partners through the use of deadly objects, how to balance sensations with risk management, and how to be prepared for accidents. We’ll explore what types of blades work well for play, several different ways to use them effectively and how to take care of them.

After questions have been answered, there will be a short demonstration scene so participants can see up close how Mister Chris works with a partner to craft a fun and exciting scene.

Presenter Bio

Mister Chris has been making knives for 28 years, and using them in BDSM since 2017. An experienced teacher of technical skills, he is the instructor at Blacksmith’s Guild of the Potomac, co-founded the non-profit Resilience Forge working with wounded veterans, and appeared twice on History Channel’s “Forged in Fire.”

Mister Chris lives in Alexandria, Virginia, with his spouse and dogs, and is multi-partnered. He is constantly expanding his play style to include managing high-risk techniques, total power exchange, and mindful kink practices. He is a BDSM Sadist, Leatherman, and evolving Master in power exchange relationships. He enjoys building toys and tools for BDSM friends and vends at the Leather Flea and Play event at The Crucible.
